Healthy Breakfast Sandwich

If you can’t resist a bacon and egg sandwich make sure a few of your elements are healthy. Instead of frying your eggs, give them a quick poach (don’t worry you will eventually master it). Pick up some bacon that is a lean cut as well as low in sodium. If you can get it from a local butcher or producer, even better! It will contain less sodium nitrates.

Finally if you can’t resist sauce on your sandwich try making it yourself. Shop bought sauce is chock full of sugar and salt, if you see tomatoes on sale at the supermarket, grab them and spend an afternoon in the kitchen!
