Pregnancy Problems: Breastfeeding in Public

During my pregnancy, I was terrified of breastfeeding in public. I really give women credit who are able to do that as a normal part of life, I just couldn’t handle it. But as I look back, I am realizing, maybe I didn’t have the right tools, or even the right clothing.

Have you ever tried out the old school breast feeding bras? 1. They are so ugly 2. They are stupid hard to work 3. They are not easy to undo and put back on.

I have been researching around to find different types of clothing that can help me out for my next pregnancy, and I recently found the Cardimom Convertible Nursing Sweater and Nursing Top.

Another thing I wonder, why did I not know about this during my pregnancy?!  Now you should see the amount of different things this one sweater does – it’s pretty amazing. When I had to breastfeed, I used a blanket and that was really not a safe bet – it made me totally nervous to do it in public, to the point where I would either go in the car or into the bathroom, which is not always an answer! I am going to show you some ways to use this sweater – be ready to be amazed.

It can be worn as a cardigan or a poncho but is also really versatile you can wear it with jeans or a dress or covering your workout clothes. It’s great for travel since it covers so many bases.

  1. Great informative post for new mothers and for grandmothers. I remember the years when there was no support for breastfeeding; I remember much opposition. Recently, a teacher attending one of my workshops asked if I knew of a place in the hotel where she could pump with a bit of privacy and in comfort… I gave her the key to my hotel room.
