A Cup of Tea Keeps the Family Healthy

As a mom, I am always looking for ways to keep my family healthy. There are only so many apples you can eat and vitamins that you can take. Did you know that there were specific types of tea that are meant to boost immune systems? I always had a misconception that only green tea was good for you, but I did some research and found the Family Immunity Tea.
After looking through the Birds & Bees Teas website, I chose the Family Immunity Tea, although if I was pregnant, I would have loved to try the Peaceful Pregnancy Tea(next time!). Anyway, the Family Immunity Tea description sold me, take a look at it:

“Family tea full of natural immune system boosters. An antioxidant powerhouse! Along with healthy foods, getting outside to have fun and exercise, and teaching your little ones proper hand washing, this tea is a proper first line of defense during cold and flu season. Meant to be enjoyed on a regular basis by the whole family, it is a delicious remedy to the “why are we sick all the time” concern. Best enjoyed hot with a touch of raw local honey, can even be enjoyed frozen for immune boosting Popsicles.”

Did it not just sell you? I figured, going into the school year again, we need this.

I was able to order the tea on Amazon Prime, which is always a huge plus for me because I am a prime member and it will arrive in 2 days, so I did not have to wait long!

Ingredients: Elderberry, Astragalus Root, Rosehips, Goji Berry, Cinnamon Chips.

Servings: 30

Additions: Comes with a reusable tea bag

It is so important, especially going into a new school year, that you are doing everything that you can to promote family health. It isn’t easy for me to take off of work, as being a teacher, taking off is not really taking off. I have to go in and write sub plans and get everything ready for a sub to come in and then sometimes its a mess and the next day I have to play catch up. I hate having to take off. So I will do anything I can in order to make that not happen, including buying a tea that my family can drink and maintain our family health.

We have made this into iced tea and made sure each of us have drank 1 cup of tea each day so far! We are getting ready for the germ season come September.
