To ensure you don’t miss any of the essentials during your RV renovations, we’ve listed X fixtures that you must have in your camping vehicle. For extra simplicity, we’ve split these essentials into rooms.

Bathroom Fixtures

Every RV needs a bathroom fitted with all of the essential fixtures. With a well-fitted bathroom, you can enjoy maximum comfort and functionality during long trips. You’ll need the best RV toilet, sink, and showering unit (or bath if your RV is large enough to accommodate one) as a bare minimum. You might also want to invest in some bathroom storage, such as an under-sink or wall cupboard.

Kitchen Fixtures

Your kitchen will need a cooking area equipped with a microwave, a small oven, and hobs. Microwaves and portable stoves are your best choices if you have limited space in your RV. You’ll need a compact refrigerator to keep your food fresh, delicious, and contamination-free.

Consider storage units for cooking utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, and cutlery. Install a sink with an efficient water supply so you can wash your dinnerware after eating. Get yourself a foldable table so you can sit down to hearty breakfasts with your loved ones before clearing it away for extra floor space during the day.

Living Room Fixtures

For the living room area of your RV, you’ll want fixtures that enhance comfort and promote relaxation. Foldable furniture is a great choice for smaller RVs, as you will be able to store it away when you’re not using it and enjoy more space on your camping trips.

Optimize storage space with multifunctional furniture that doubles as storage units (such as a sofa bed or storage sofa that has ample storage underneath the seats). Consider fixing a television onto the wall of your RV to save floor space and provide hours of entertainment for rainy days or snowy evenings.

Bedroom Fixtures

You’ll need a comfortable mattress that is suitable for your size and your RV’s size. Many RVs come with standard mattresses, but you might wish to upgrade yours for extra comfort.

Consider getting fixed storage units in the bedroom area of your RV to keep your belongings and avoid clutter. This will be particularly helpful if your RV is relatively small as it is.

You could fix lights onto the walls of your RV to avoid the need for floor or desktop lamps and save room. Wall-fitted lighting is often cozier and more practical, making long road journeys and camping trips extra enjoyable.
