Hair Products for Dry Damaged Hair

Have you ever had a really dry scalp? Did you think it was dandruff or peeling from the sun? How did you handle it? Or are you still struggling?

This past summer my hair took a turn for the worst. Between the sun and dying it blonder, I was always peeling. I could not figure out what was going on. This hadn’t happened to me before. Usually my hair was oily after not washing it one day but that wasn’t happening so much either. How could I fix this?

I tried a few different things between not washing my hair, apple cider vinegar, dandruff shampoo, nutregena scalp cleaner – nothing. Still peeling scalp. It was almost like I had permanent sunburn on my head all summer long.

As you can imagine this was insanely frustrating. I fell upon Beauty Counter products. The Repair + Nourish was my thought that would work for my hair. I have been using them now for a week and I cannot even tell you how impressed I am. With just a few days in, I have no peeling. Within just a few days!!!  Why didn’t I find this in the beginning of the summer ?

I can’t even believe it. The shampoo has “revives dry, damaged hair and helps protect from future damage with reparative Brazilian bataua oil and shea butter.”  This description sold me after doing some research on my dry hair I found that I need a shampoo with oil in it to fix my hair problem. The conditioner is supposed to complement the shampoos work. I clearly need to buy this as well.

I have been very happy with the results. I think my scalp is going back to normal. I believe from all the dying my hair from brown to blonde it took a toll on my scalp and I didn’t even realize it. Being able to find a product that could change the feeling of my scalp makes me so much more comfortable in my own skin. It was almost embarrassing but I would just cover it up with putting my hair up.

Now is a great time to try safer (CLEAN) haircare and amazing PureFoam Technology. Beauty Counter is holdings promotion until September 19th.
