5 Reasons Why You Need to Use Desert Essence Products

Finding the right hair products is just as hard as finding new clothing. Finding what works best for your hair is important. Desert Essence has a great line of products that I will be sharing about in this article. Desert Essence is the first company to bring Jojoba oil to the marketplace and it’s still been their best selling product since 1978! Whether you have dry hair or fine hair, we have the solution for you!

This article includes the benefits of Desert Essence Anti-Breakage products and the best way to use them.

What is Jojoba oil?

Jojoba oil is an oil extracted from the seeds of an American shrub widely used in cosmetics. There are tons of benefits of Jojoba oil and there are important ones when it comes to dry scalp and dandruff. Jojoba oil is capable of moisturizing hair and its follicles without leaving any residue. It even helps hair cells reproduce and grow quicker.

Benefits of using Desert Essence

There are tons of benefits when using the Desert Essence. Desert Essence Anti-Breakage Shampoo includes Biotin, Jojoba and coconut oils, aloe, and saw palmetto. All of these ingredients help smooth and fortify hair cuticles and help repair hair strands. This combination helps reduce breakage and provide incredible shine to the hair. Aloe and moisturizing shea butter are incredibly helpful for detangling and conditioning hair! I love how my hair has felt every time I wash it!

Why use Desert Essence Anti-Breakage products?

Because of the ingredients in the products, there are so many benefits to using the Desert Essence Anti-breakage products:

  1. Desert Essence products help repair broken hair.
  2. Significantly help dry hair or fine hair be repaired and look healthy.
  3. Desert Essence products help colored hair repair itself and moisturizes the dryness.
  4. Weekly treatments to help moisturize hair.
  5. Improve the look and feel of hair.

How to use the products

When you start with the Anti-breakage shampoo, only apply a quarter-sized amount into your wet hair and rinse. It may seem like a small amount, but it goes a long way. Then apply the conditioner afterward and leave it on for 1-2 minutes. I left mine on for a few minutes longer because my hair was so dry. Don’t forget to rinse.

Every week you can use the Desert Essence Hair Mask for a deep condition. This has been what has saved my hair! It looks so much healthier after applying the hair mask. Using it weekly is just the perfect amount. Make sure to apply after using the shampoo from your scalp to the ends of your hair. If you have really fine hair, don’t apply to the scalp or roots. If you have really thought or dry hair, which is exactly what I have, apply all over.

Leave this one for 20-30 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. Being a mom made this part super hard for me because I never have 20-30 minutes! I forced myself to make time and I will put a shower cap on over my hair with a hot towel and continue on with work around the house! Afterward, jump back in the shower and rinse it out. The treatment has really done wonders on my hair! I dye my hair often so this is a very important process for me.
