The new generation of Moms are all about finding inspiration from other fellow Moms! We’re always checking out what they’re doing, buying and sharing on social media. Whether it’s the Mom who took their family on a Disney World vacation, sharing photos with Mickey Mouse, or the Mom who posted a picture of their toddler’s sharpie masterpiece on their living room wall – we are always attentive to what other Moms are experiencing.
With Mother’s Day around the corner, I’ve decided to curate a Mother’s Day Wish List of items and activities that are not only great for Moms like me, but will hopefully resonate with Moms like you. Especially because they’re all pretty worthy of an Instagram post! After all, I know you’re probably scrolling through Instagram to find some sort of inspiration!
Instagram Letter Board
I mentioned in a previous post about how I’ve been loving my Instagram letter boards. And I think every Mom should have one! They allow you to be as creative as you want. You can share your favorite song lyrics, quotes, use it for a weekly dinner menu or special announcements. Sharing photos of your letter boards on Instagram is eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing. Pair those qualities with your followers, and your likes are sure to go up!
Give Back To a Good Cause
Who doesn’t feel good after giving back to a good cause? I had to include this one on my list, considering 92% of millennial Moms want to buy products that support charities or bigger causes. For Mother’s Day, giving back to a cause that helps children in need just makes sense. There are tons of companies out there, supporting great causes. Flower delivery company, The Bouqs Co., is partnering up with No Kid Hungry. A percentage of select mother’s day flower sales will help provide healthy meals to children in need. A picture perfect bouquet of flowers is exactly what your Instagram feed is craving.
Coffee Mugs
Coffee mugs are always a good idea, and you can never have too many! I’ve been eyeing these mugs from &Kloth, a locally owned boutique I love in Spokane. Just like the Instagram letter boards, a mug with a quote or saying coupled with the right background makes for the ideal photo shoot!
Workout Gear
Even if you’re not into getting your fitness on, a new, cute workout outfit could be useful for mothers anywhere! There’s something about a new set of yoga pants with a matching top that makes me feel confident while working out. Wear them to run errands, pick the kids up from school, or just around the house while you’re chasing your kiddos around. Ultimate comfort is what busy Moms like us strive for. Post a selfie in your workout gear with the hashtag, #ootd or #selfie to get the most likes.
Breakfast In Bed
Is there anything better than breakfast in bed? I can already imagine my husband and daughter waking up early to prepare me my favorite breakfast pancakes. Not only is this one of the most original and thoughtful gestures, it’s also a simple way to show your Mom how much you appreciate them! Make sure to snap a picture before you dig in, and use a food-related hashtag like #food or #foodporn, as they garner the most engagement!
This Mother’s Day, we all deserve a little extra love, on and off Instagram. I hope these picture-perfect gift ideas inspire your own Mother’s Day Wish List!
